I have known Erika since she was a little girl, running around my cousin’s house laughing and playing. She has turned into such a beautiful young lady, with sweet babies of her own. She reached out to me for a Christmas Mini turned maternity shoot, and I was so excited for a fun session. There was even some snow on the ground! The session was held at Boyd Mountain Tree farm, a favorite of mine in the area. I love the look of a “cut your own” tree farm. They always look so cozy and full of Christmas Spirit.
We arrived at a couple of hours before sunset, to capture just the right amount of sunlight. Irideza, her daughter, was so sweet. She laughed the entire time. I loved having fun with them both. I also brought a string of Christmas lights to wrap around her sweet baby belly. I also loved her dress! Such a perfect color for a Christmas themed mini session.
Mini sessions can be challenging, especially with little ones. But I love the images oh so much, and I am so proud of how they’ve turned out!
